Wilmer Perez

Software Engineer

I build backend systems for payments, banking and enterprise integrations.

About

Hi, I'm Wilmer. I'm a software engineer with nine years of experience, based in Mexico City and working in English with US teams. I'm at my best between a business problem and the production system that solves it, and I like to stay with what I build long after it ships.

Currently I'm a lead engineer at Qualtrics, where I own a portfolio of custom integrations for enterprise clients, from the statement of work to production. Before that I spent five years at Kavak, ending as engineering lead of its fintech arm.

Outside work you'll find me at the gym, cooking, playing tennis, or with a guitar. I studied music for five years before engineering won.
